SEGA Service Bulletin

"This Bulletin applies to the Manx TT &Motor Raid Deluxe Machines Only"

Problem: Some of the games shipped may have improperly torqued hardware. This will cause the slide Assembly to come loose, and potentially damage the Bearings and Motor.

Cause: Improperly torqued hardware becoming loose during play due to vibration.

Correction: Tighten all hardware in the Base of the game using Page 2 as a guide. The instructions are as follows:

1. Remove the floor panels to expose the motor area. All Front Panels.
   
   
2. Loosen the 3ea Hex Bolts that secure the Brake Assembly Bracket to the Bike Frame. Slide the Brake Assembly away from the Rack Gear. This frees up the Motorcycle Assembly for movement.
   
   
3. While the Base Assembly is exposed, check all mounting hardware for proper torque. All Allen Head Bolts in the base are to be tightened to 14 ft. lbs., and the Hex Hardware is to be tightened to 24 ft. lbs. Note: Slide Rail Bearings have 4 Allen Bolts each. If any of the 16 total are loose, all should be checked. The Front 8 Allen Bolts are under the Brake & Motor Brackets respectively. After the bolts have been torqued, re-install the Motor Bracket making sure that the Key on the Motor Pinion Gear faces forward ( Toward the Rack Gear ( See Page 3 ) ). The Brake has no alignment necessary. Slide each assembly into the rack gear to properly adjust back lash. After complete, torque all hardware.
   
   
4. Re-install all the panels, and test the machine for proper operation. Verify that the movement is smooth, and the game play is normal.

Important Note: The hardware MUST BE CHECKED WHEN MACHINE IS FIRST INSTALLED, affer the first 30 DAYS of operation, and EVERY 90 DAYS thereafter.
